To commemorate the 150th anniversary of Japan's oldest classic resort hotel, the Kanaya Hotel, we have collaborated with Traveler's Company.

Founded in 1873 as "Kanaya Cottage Inn" in Nikko, Japan, the Kanaya Hotel has played a pivotal role as a summer resort for foreign diplomats and intellectuals. It served as an evacuation site during wartime, was seized by the U.S. military post-war for officer recreation, and has persevered through challenging times, maintaining its tradition as the "oldest existing resort hotel in Japan." Located near Nikko Toshogu Shrine, the hotel seamlessly blends Western furniture with Japanese architectural beauty, creating a distinctive classic atmosphere.
